My practice encompasses three distinct forms of art: professional illustrations for Film/TV and Publishing industries, figurative fine art paintings, and pattern-based explorations.
In my figurative work, I explore our relationship to day-to-day life and how our deepest feelings and memories are experienced in mundane places. I want to show the incredible ability of our mind to change how we view reality, then translate these ephemeral experiences into visual representations of real objects.
My pattern work celebrates the beauty of mundane moments by multiplying simple objects or visuals until they demand attention. Through repetition, I aim to bring focus to everyday moments, particularly those celebrating nature.
My professional illustrations are figurative and semi-realistic, adapting to fit each client’s vision while maintaining narrative clarity.
Working across varying sizes and media, I experiment and learn continuously. Through my fine art, I want to connect people with their own feelings and encourage them to look inward. By fostering self-knowledge and acceptance, I hope to inspire the same empathy toward others. In my pattern work, I aim to help people connect with their love of nature, encouraging choices that benefit the planet.
Ultimately, my work seeks to help make the world a better place through creating visuals to foster self-reflection.
