Art has been a lifelong passion; it is my voice and expression. My paintings are mostly in oil and acrylic but also other media, in genres that include figurative, landscape, abstract, still life, and collages. I am also a photographer.
My current focus is on humanity and the complexity of life, from challenges in relationships to inter-connections between humans and our surroundings. I am particularly fascinated by the interactions and human communication. The subtle and yet provocative body language that accompanies the vocal one, often betrays and sabotages it. Art itself reflects these exchanges and marks each as a social commentary, it is a great narrator.
Based in Toronto, I am a proud Canadian, I left my career in finance to fulfill my passion in art. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Ontario College of Art and Design University and Master’s degree in Fine Arts with Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, USA.
