Art and design has been my lifelong passion.
From the time I was winning purple ribbons for my first drawings at the County Fair in Nebraska to studying fine art at the University of Nebraska, then further study of advertising art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
My career path began in earnest as Art Director for
Barnes & Noble Bookstores then on to winning international awards for major ad campaigns as an Art & Creative Director in both the U.S. and Canada.
Now I have come full circle back to making drawings and paintings. But my challenge remains the same: to be always vigilant and challenge the limits of my conceptual visual expression through the exploration of new and different perspectives.
I am hand hemming and designing canvas floor mats while remixing historical textiles.
Also, I paint and draw landscapes and flowers using mixed media and surfaces while being fascinated with decline and decay.
