Connections with the Nonhuman World
Connections with the Nonhuman World is Pooja Kumar’s first solo exhibition. The artworks in this collection are about the entities with whom we share the Earth. These pieces are meant to tease apart ideas about nature that commonly surround us and to let some of these concepts go in favour of how we intuit. Each painting pays homage to the more-than-human world in some way. Like our human stories, the artworks serve as reminders of what we value in our lives.
Pooja is a self-taught artist, environmental planner, PhD student, and former journalist. Follow her Instagram @wobblebauble for updates.
