In Flux is the first exploratory collection of works by Olivia Sementsova. After a career of over 15 years as a commercial designer and illustrator the transition to a studio practice was full of experimentation.
Created in painting and collage, the varied artworks come together through narrative. Each one is a snapshot of a decision or pivotal moment. Though the moments are based on the artist’s life, she believes that they are examples of common human experience.
