We are saddened to learn of the passing of Gwen Tooth on April 20, 2025.
Gwen was a talented artist, teacher, and mentor whose warmth and generosity inspired many. She taught adult art classes, juried local exhibitions, and actively supported the arts community.
She earned a BFA from OCAD University (2005), a Fine Arts Certificate from Humber College (1978), and a BA from Western University (1967). Even during her illness, Gwen remained creatively engaged and deeply supportive of fellow artists.
Gwen participated in many group shows at Gallery 1313 in addition to mounting several solo shows:
