Call For submissions – Gallery 1313 – Process Gallery
A curated open call for submissions: March 19 – 30, 2025.
Most of us do not belong to the land we are currently on. In recent politics, the word immigrant has increasingly been taking on more negative connotations. But immigration is a significant part of our lives”whether we’ve experienced the act of immigrating, or that were where we are now because our older generations have immigrated. It is an art that many of us are constantly experiencing: the exploration of something new and the re connection to where we originated from. This exhibition will feature immigrant and diasporic artists illustrating the
art of immigration.

Deadline for submissions is March 10th midnight, 2025.
Interested artists please send image(s) of your artwork(s), plus an artist statement and how it relates to the theme of the exhibition.
Selected artists for the exhibit will pay an admin fee of $40 per artwork. Send submissions to solarotters@gmail.com. The work will be displayed in the Process Gallery within Gallery 1313.
