AS ABOVE SO BELOW painting series references the expression that what goes on Above, in Heaven, the Mind, affects and influences what is Below, the Earth, Emotions, Body
My cloud-dominated seascapes allude on digital Cloud network systems collecting our data and telling us how we should feel and behave. By delving into the theme of water in its various forms I refer to the interconnectedness of what is above, below and within us and invite the viewer to reflect on how perceptions, thoughts and actions can influence their wellbeing and impact the environment.
I imply the importance of observing clouds in the sky and connecting with nature as it leads to a greater sense of self and the relationship with the environment.
