PIVOT OF LOVE

Each painting corresponds to a text from the four Gospels where Mary Magdalene appears. Based on two years of research, this display of abstract mixed media paintings goes beyond biblical passages, especially for those who are not scripturally inclined. The Pivot of Love is something which can happen in all of our lives. Love is a strong force which can pivot you towards something better. It is my viewpoint that Jesus fell in love with Mary Magdalene and this completely changed his journey- from sin to love, from ascetic to sensualist. Each painting represents a step in this journey which can be one’s own journey. There are two titles for each painting, one secular and one biblical, both about love.
