“Human Nature” is a series of photographs that address several pervasive themes in my work relating to space, human activity and the results of the interaction,  with a focus on the imprint we leave behind on the land. My images hold up a metaphorical mirror to the impact we have on the natural landscape, revealing the consequences of our intervention. I’m interested in highlighting our desire to assert dominance and manipulate our surroundings. Often, I’ll arrive at a scene and capture evidence of past interventions. Sometimes, I affect the change myself.
