Due to Covid Ontario Lock Down restrictions our CITY OF DREAMS Exhibit will be online only.
Selected participants from submissions will have two images selected online plus 40-55 words ( artists statement or description ) plus web site or instagram account. Cost $40 send by e-transfer to philipanderson@bell.net Deadline for submissions is JANUARY 13th 5pm 2021.
Gallery 1313 is pleased to present CITY OF DREAMS Exhibition of art works curated by Phil Anderson, Director, Gallery 1313 and assisted by Georgia Gardner. It is both online and in the Gallery. Some works my just be online. This is a large group exhibition with over 25 artists selected by invitation and by submission . It is an exhibition of contemporary works in a variety of media where the artists explore the architecture and structures that impact them. Issues of gentrification and urban sprawl may be addressed.
Gallery 1313 has a mandate to support emerging artists. This call includes a variety of media including painting, drawing, mixed media, photography and video.
Artists are asked to submit via email to philipanderson@bell.net Artists should send a current CV, an artist statement, 3-5 jpegs ( no larger than 2mb) and an image list with titles, sizes and medium. Artists that are selected will pay an admin fee of $40 per accepted work.
Deadline for submissions is JANUARY 13th 5pm 2021.
