Process Gallery : Gestural Explorations: Inktober 2017 works by Kris Cvetkovic In a series of ink and water colour drawings originally inspired by an online challenge, Kris Cvetkovic used instinct, chance, and calligraphic inspiration to create a new drawing for every day October of 2017. The rapid pace and limited time allotted for each piece helped Kris achieve new creative breakthroughs in his artistic endeavours.
Kris’s work often deals with concepts of organized chaos, and cause and effect, whether on a macro or a micro level. He observes these patterns in nature and daily life, and then attempts to translate them onto a piece of canvas or paper. Some works are stand-alones, while others form small or large series.
