In response to her previous exhibition “Water Paintings III”, held at Gallery 1313 November 23 through December 4, 2016, Gwen Tooth has created 2 new red paintings, “Red Series: Gentle Waterfalls No. 21 and No. 22. In conversation with the happy red paintings in which nature is full of joy, Gwen has painted 3 new black paintings in her series “Black Series: Gentle Waterfalls” – No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5. All paintings have simple backgrounds, with gentle drips of the same colour. Red and Black dialogue in a peaceful balanced flow reminiscent of a gentle waterfall.
