This piece consists of milkweed, Swarovski crystal, and light. milkweed infests the air alongside thought. Milkweed is so light, so barely a thing, and is swiftly gone. This piece captures milkweed and its lightness. It is a tribute to the ethereal.

Maya Stewart Pathak practices watercolour, writing, and yoga each day. Her work is informed by the divinity of any instance. She has a BA from a mix of universities in Halifax and Toronto. Her honours thesis focused on material aspect of language, with attention to Carl Andre’s work.
