CELL GALLERY : FRAGMENTS works by Joan Malcolmsen
The pieces in this show are of two kinds – images of bodies of water, and the skies above them, some peaceful, some threatening, and a collection of small fragments of memory. Both relate to my concern for the thousands of refugees who are on the move, some braving risky water crossings and hoping for calm waters at their journey’s end, all with fragmented memories of their previous lives
There are no images of the people; the viewer may choose to superimpose these.
Proceeds from this exhibition will go to Medecins Sans Frontieres, to support their work with refugees.
