OCAD University is pleased to present a thesis exhibition from the Life Studies students at Gallery 1313. Stretching the tension between the infinitesimal and the unimaginably great, Propinquity concerns itself with metaphor, embodiment, nostalgia, yearning, and diaspora. Eleven artists in the thick of unpacking their perceptions of the earth and self, work to cultivate an intersubjective approach to affinity.
The exhibition will take place from March 2nd – 12th , with the opening reception on Thursday March 2nd from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Participating artists are Andria Keen, Taylor Violet Ross, Sar Wagman, Olivia Pare, Rebecca Sanichara, Jacklyn Freeburn, Bridget Lu, Serena Selvaggi, Emily Withers, Uzo Alexander, Andy Chitty.
