This is a lead up to the community planning sessions in early March and the meeting with CREATE TO with further updates and community consultation . Some of the designs by Create To and ERA are in the Process Gallery to give visitors a picture of what the future might look like .Gallery 1313 is one of the organizations that will be on the move in the first phase of the project . It will move to the site of the Dollarama which will be replaced with a 9 storey building to house community organizations , Artscape tenants and 100 affordable housing units . In Phase the Library will move to 1313 Queen St. and the Green P lot in a new building that will keep the facade of 1313 Queen St. former Division 6 City of Toronto Police Station . We hope to reach more residents of Parkdale and help create more dialogue about what the hub can look like and how it can best serve the community .
