PROCESS GALLERY
Peregrination is a long or meandering journey, the sort Frodo and Sam took from the Shire in “The Lord of the Rings” books, and it seems that is what I am on.
Drawing inspiration from the nature surrounding me, these paintings were created on location at several different campsites. This summer I spent two and a half months travelling across southern Ontario with my portable studio with all my equipment.
My journey is not only physical, but also spiritual. I am constantly pursuing the essence of my surroundings, looking to distill this in minimal colour and shape.
