Gallery 1313 is home to over 50 member artists all working diligently at their art practise . Originally formed as the Parkdale Village arts Collective in 1994 these artists have continued to mirror the changes and events effecting them. Artists are not renowned for their athletic proneness but they strive to achieve excellence like most athletes and like athletes are driven in their practise . As the Pan Am Games are about to descend on our city we are reminded of this strange circumstance in the exhibition , The Artful Games .
The exhibition is curated by Gallery Director , Phil Anderson featuring works by Marie Finkelstein , Brian Deignan , Gwen Tooth, Eva Lawarne , Morgan Skinner Gregg McGivern , Dean Bradley , Imre Hajagos , Ruth Hartman and others .
