The new collection by Paul Brandejs

Opening Reception: Saturday June 27th 2015

Paul has developed a unique art style, working on sculpted canvas with a variety of techniques. He uses photography as one of the media, blending the precision of photography with the unpredictability and fluidity of paint. By applying a variety of painterly techniques to his photographic imagery he combine the best of each medium.

He pushes canvas from the traditional square or rectangle, to a new art form. Hand crafted stretcher frames define the individual pieces as much as the actual application of media onto the canvas. He views the shape and texture of the canvas as a catalyst to unlimited creativity. By combining multiple components into one cohesive piece he is able to explore yet another dimension of his art. Although he works with two dimensional images he brings them into the three dimensional world.

Paul is a member of Gallery 1313, Artists’ Network and stits on the Artists’ Network Board of Directors. He is represented by Onishi Project — New York, Norman Felix Gallery and the RobberyArt Collective. His work in included in private collections of G. Kabat, D. Wertheim, P. Pankowski, G. Prosserman and many more.
