Tai Kim –  Look within (Daily Reflections) – July 17 – Aug 4

Seoul Born.
Toronto- Based Multi-disciplinary Artist.
A artist who understands the world through visual art  and music. Reggae music.
This exhibition are the results of reflection on daily life over the past few years.
I have had many different occasion of plain-air painting. 
Mostly around Ontario. Canada.
and And a few still life paintings done on scrolls.
Tai Kim used eastern way of frame – silk scroll to use western painting method as a twist.
Portraits of artist’s mother and grand mother painted by the artist as a reflection on the recovery of femininity.
Tai Kim’s ongoing story telling. 
Healing the generation connections.

It also presents imaginary story paintings related to artist’s reggae album.  Tiger Step.

The artist said. This world is already full of dark and sad image. 
I have no intention of adding more to it. 
Just live each day with the power of positivity.
Every day is a new day.
